Navistar's biggest engine, the MaxxForce 15, is on schedule for launch in October, according to the company. Daniel Ustian, Navistar's chairman and chief operating officer, said the launch of the 15-litre, twin-turbo straight-six would allow all international trucks to be powered exclusively by Navistar badged engines.
Navistar is unique among America's truck-makers in refusing to adopt SCR and AdBlue to meet EPA10. The stance has led it to drop Cummins as a supplier.
