Ferrari F70

As you may already know, the exotic Italian automaker Ferrari is busy preparing a successor for their last anniversary celebrating halo super car, the Enzo. It only makes sense that the future car will be called the F70 in honor of a 70th anniversary and is promised to be unveiled sometime in 2012. The upcoming F70 would compete head to head with other high end limited edition super cars like the Lamborghini Reventón and Bugatti Veyron. There will only be 399 F70s produced and prices will range in the $1 Million region.
With efficiency high on their list of priorities, Ferrari wants to keep the future F70’s weight to a minimum (1000 kilograms), just like the Millechilli. Now this would be a substantial undertaking for any ordinary automaker, but Ferrari is ready to apply every weight saving technique in their arsenal. While the Enzo was powered by a high revving V12 that made 650 HP, the F70 will use a new direct injection twin turbo V8, quite similar to the legendary F40, with output in the area of 660 HP. This should be enough for the future super car to sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in under three seconds and the F70’s top speed will go up to 230 MPH.
9ff Launches 650-hp Speed9 Porsche 911 Turbo

German tuners 9ff have announced the Speed9, a tuned version of the Porsche 911 Turbo packing 650 hp and 656 lb-ft of torque. Customers can bring in their own 911 for the conversion or buy a completed car—coupe or cabriolet—directly from 9ff.
The most obvious changes are the additions of new splitters and side skirts all round, along with a subtly-tweaked body kit and 19-inch 9ff wheels. The Porsche’s rear seats have been supplanted by roll hoops, while the rest of the interior receives a unique Alcantara-and-leather treatment, new front seats, and a speedometer reading to 400 km/h (248 mph).
The extra under-hood grunt comes courtesy of bigger turbochargers and intercoolers, high-flow intake and exhaust systems, a reprogrammed engine computer, and a “sport” catalytic converter. Handling upgrades comprise adjustable shocks and coil-over springs, while the brakes are bumped up to 14.9-inch discs with six-piston calipers and grippier brake pads all round. There are no performance claims, but we’d imagine it’s very quick.
Lexus unveils details about the 2010 GX460

2010 Lexus GX460 is now on its second generation, and as the name hints it has a smaller engine than the GX470 it is replacing.
That of course doesn’t mean the new model has less power. In fact it has more power and is more efficient. 4.6-liter V8 pumps out 301 horsepower and 329 lb.ft. of torque. Average fuel economy is 15/20 mpg.
Design wise there is nothing breaking, but when looking at all the features you will agree that Lexus is all about offering comfort and safety.
Main highlights are a power-folding third row, flip-forward second row slider for better third row access, optional Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Driver Attention Monitor and Lane Departure Alert (LDA), of course full-time four wheel-drive, Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) with available Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), 6,500-pound towing capacity, Crawl Control and Downhill Assist Control (DAC), ten standard airbags, Bluetooth, superior audio system, rear camera, LCD screens and a lot more.

Bentley Continental GT by Vorsteiner

British car tuned by Americans. Is not everyday you get the chance to see this! But it happened, and to a pretty cool car! Meaning a Bentley Continental GT.
The American tuner has just released the BR-9 kit inspired by the new Supersports model. The kit is made out of Vorsteiner’s Carbon Fiber Honeycomb Matrix (CFHM) structure that gives the new parts superior stiffness, strength & durability compared to traditional hand laid carbon fiber and fiberglass materials.
The kit includes: a new front and rear bumper together with side skirts and a rear deck spoiler.
MTM Boost Audi TT-RS to 424bhp

MTM used the stock 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo as a basis. The engine control unit was adjusted and a new exhaust system with new middle- and end- pipes with throttle valves fitted. Not only does it apparently sound great, but it also revs higher and accesses its torque across a wide range of revolutions.[via]
Range Rover Sport Onyx Concept
In additon to the widebody conversion, Onyx has added to the mix their 14-piece interior panel kit, A&D pillars, front grill and side vents all made from 100% solid carbon fiber, not overlay or laminated parts. Onyx has added a suspension lowering system, Onyx branded TPM 22-inch wheels available in a range of offsets to suit the widebody and standard cars, and perforated buffalo hide diamond stitched leather with a range of contrasting colors. Although no details were given, Onyx also offers power upgrades for diesel and petrol models.
For the near future, Onyx is working on their Platinum V conversion for the Range Rover Vogue. They were kind enough to provide a few renderings of the package. This new edition is expected to include a redesigned bodykit constructed mainly out of carbon fiber. The renderings show alterations to the front bumper, when compared to Platinum S. Gone will be the traditional fog lights in favor of LED strips. A carbon fibre grille matches the blacked-out double-spoke TPM custom wheels. Their renderings also appears to include redesigned rear bumper, dual exhaust instead of quad, and a new rear diffuser also made from carbon fiber.
Onyx Concept plans to make the Platinum V kit available for older Vogue Range Rovers, as well as the 2010 model year. The set-up should hit the market in mid-December, with delivery to their dealers in the Russian Federation, UAE, UK, and US.

Sema 09-Scion xB-amino Concept
The Scion xB is a favorite of the wacky tuning crowd and this Scion xB "Truck" by Brandon Leung certainly is unique, blending touches of retro-JDM with lakester styling elements, and it doesn't hide the fact it's definitely a Camino. After hacking the little trucklet into existence, Leung also massaged the engine with upgraded valves, valve springs, new cam, a port and polish on the head, performance header, new clutch and nitrous system. It debuts on the floor at SEMA this week.
2010 Cobra Jet Mustang
Ford's re-packaging of the Mustang into its 2010 model-year form factor has pleased the critics with a sleeker look, but now Ford Racing is getting ready to please the folks that live only to see quick ETs with the 2010 Mustang Cobra Jet, which was revealed today at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas.Since its victorious introduction at the NHRA Winternationals in 1968, Ford's Cobra Jet Mustang has created a legacy of power, performance and triumph. The latest version, on show today, was finished in a “SEMA Special” paint scheme and a contrasting graphics package.

The 2010 Cobra Jet, like its predecessor, is a factory-built race car that is intended for NHRA Stock and Super Stock racing. The goal for the 2010 Cobra Jet was to enhance the race features to further make its own place in NHRA history. These include options for a full race-prepared automatic or manual transmission, drag race-specific shocks and springs, manual steering and brakes, and a fully certified roll cage.
Additionally, Ford engineers have developed for the 2010 Cobra Jet a factory-first launch control/rev limiter that will allow drivers to preset the rpm after they stage the car--when they are ready to leave, all they do is put the throttle pedal to the floor. Previously, the launch control/rev limiter was only available as an aftermarket option.
Production of the new race cars will commence in January, with delivery of all vehicles expected in the first quarter of 2010.

2010 F-150 Harley Davidson Edition

It was strange to be driving this F-150 just after reading in the business pages about the shrunken market for big pickups. The consensus among those in the industry was that the casual-use buyer had largely abandoned the market and wasn't likely to come back. That certainly doesn't portend well for the F-150 Harley-Davidson, a shiny black $50,000 showpiece whose owner would sooner laser off his tattoos than throw a bunch of lumber or gravel into the truck bed. Even as a show pony, this latest version of the Harley-Davidson F-series also seemed to me to be less successful than some of this truck's previous iterations. The 5.4-liter engine's 320 hp holds no performance advantage over lesser F-150s, and the swoosh side graphics look like they were lifted from an RV. At least the power-retractable running boards clean up the aesthetics and function well. And the black-and-red two-tone leather, accented with gloss black trim, is suitably flashy.
Given plenty of space, this mammoth beast is pleasant enough to drive, but the whole concept just feels so last century. [via]
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series

After initially announcing the project back in 2006, Mercedes-Benz finally lived up to anticipation when it unveiled its new top-of-the-line SLS AMG at the Frankfurt Motor Show. But despite the supercar's superlative performance figures, the stock SLS is emerging as only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. In addition to an upcoming all-electric version and anticipated roadster, reports are popping up again to confirm that the German automaker is indeed working on a Black Series version that will take the car's performance to the edge of the envelope.
The report in Autocar equates the difference between the existing SLS and the upcoming Black edition to the distance bridged from the Corvette Z06 to the ZR1. That's some standard to live up to, but if reports prove accurate, the SLS AMG Black Series should be up to the task. Whereas the stock SLS offers 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque from its 6.2-liter V8, the Black version is tipped to produce upwards of 600 hp and more than 500 lb-ft of twist from the same engine, tweaked with a larger air manifold, higher compression, new camshafts, a mechanical locking diff and more.
